Errors in CBSE Class 10 Odia answer key; CBSE forms expert committee, decision by tomorrow

The board responed to students' claim that CBSE Class 10 Odia papers had errors. Appropriate decision will be taken within 24 hours, CBSE said.
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) an expert committee has been constituted by the board which will examine the discrepancies raised by students in CBSE Class 10 term 1 results 2021-22.

After the board declared CBSE term 1 Class 10 result, the CBSE students have taken to Twitter claiming that the CBSE Class 10 Odia question paper had several errors and grace marks have not been provided for the same. The CBSE had responded to the tweets saying that it has provided an online dispute redressal mechanism students, parents and teachers to raise objections against CBSE term 1 result 2021-22 at cbse.gov.in till March 26.
The CBSE’s latest circular read, “A dispute has been received from a school regarding the answer key of Odia subject in Class-X claiming that the answers given in the answer key for some of the questions are wrong. Therefore, with a view to ascertain the factual position, an expert committee has been constituted by the board which will examine the discrepancies raised in the representation.
“m , on the basis of the report of the expert committee,” it said.
The CBSE term 1 results 2021-22 were declared for Class 10 on March 11, 2022. While the CBSE Class 12 students still await results.
