Download EBookThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the List of Candidates (LOC) submission portal for registration to Class 10, and 12 board exams for the academic session 2025-26. CBSE-affiliated school heads can submit the LOC with late fees through challan till October 8, 2025.

The LOC submission portal for Class 10, 12 board exams 2026 will be open till October 11 for all modes of payment except challan.
“All Principals who have still not submitted their LOC are therefore directed to ensure that the LOC for their respective schools is completed and submitted within prescribed timeframe with late fees,” the CBSE said in an official statement.

Earlier, the LOC submission portal was open till September 30 without late fee. Schools must note that no submission will be accepted after the portal will be closed on October 11, 2025.
“Schools failing to submit their LOCs by the final deadline will bear full responsibility for the non-compliance and any resulting consequences, including the ineligibility of their candidates to appear for the Board Examinations 2026. Napal (Satpal Kaur) Joint Secretary (Coord. Unit) Copy to the respective Heads of Directorates, Organizations and Institutions,” the circular reads.
The CBSE further added by saying that 8 reminders have been issued to all the affiliated schools, emphasising days available for submission of LOC without late fees.
However, despite repealed reminders, communications and “ample time given”, several schools have not submitted their LOCs within the prescribed schedule time, the board said.
