CBSE single girl child scholarship 2023 registration ends today; eligibility criteria

The schools of students who have applied for the CBSE single girl child scholarship 2023 have to verify their application by November 7.
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration window for single girl child scholarship 2023 today. Students can register for the scholarship while previous year beneficiaries can renew their candidature on the official website, cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE awards the scholarship to single girl child students who have secured 60% or above in Class 10 exam. The student should be studying in Classes 11 and 12 in schools affiliated to CBSE where tuition fee is not more than Rs 1,500 per month.
The schools of students who have applied for the scholarship have to verify their application by November 7. If the school fails to verify the applications, then the same will be rejected. The facility of processing the application is provided to the school where the student is studying.
Class 12 students applying for renewal of the scholarship should have scored 50% or more marks in Class 11. The board, in a circular, said, “The other details and eligibility conditions along with the online application form will remain the same and are available on Board’s website i.e. www.cbse.gov.in at Scholarship Link.”

- Go to the official website, cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the main website link
- Then, click on the link for scholarship application
- Candidates will be redirected to another page
- Fill the application form and upload the required documents
- Download the application form and take a print out.
