CBSE allows schools to conduct practical exams, upload marks by March 31

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided one last opportunity to schools to conduct practical exams and internal assessment; and upload marks by March 31. The board’s announcement came after it noticed that some schools have not yet completed the assessment activities related to CBSE board exams 2024 and are requesting to provide the facility.

The board said that the schools have not completed the activities despite giving reminders. “It has come to notice that some schools have not yet completed the activities mentioned above within the scheduled time frame despite repeated reminders for the same and are now requesting the board to provide the facility for uploading of marks for practical examinations/ project/ internal assessment/ internal grade 2024,” CBSE said.

Clarifying that this is the last opportunity for conducting practicals and uploading marks, CBSE said, “Keeping in view the requests received from the schools who have not yet completed the above-mentioned activities to provide them the opportunity to complete the same, it has been decided that these schools will be given one last opportunity for the conduct of practical examinations/ project/ internal assessment/ internal grade 2024 and uploading of marks thereof on the portal latest by March 31.”
CBSE practical exams 2024 were conducted in January this year. Prior to exams, the board had issued guidelines for students, schools, and regional offices to ensure timely completion of the practicals. Eve before that, the board had given instructions to schools and clarified that no request will be accepted to change the uploaded marks in any manner. CBSE had also warned schools that it will cancel the practical exams if the instructions are not followed in the schools.
