The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2026) results for paper 1 and 2 today, March 30. Candidates can download the CTET result 2026 on the official website, ctet.nic.in. CBSE will award the CTET certificate to candidates who qualify for the exam.
Since the CTET exam is of 150 marks, the general category candidates need 90 marks to pass, whereas the reserved category candidates must secure 82.5 marks to qualify.
CTET 2026 Toppers List
The board will also announce the CTET 2026 toppers list along with the results. Candidates will be able to check the CTET 2026 toppers list through the official website.
Candidates who clear paper 1 are eligible to teach Classes 1 to 5, while those who pass paper 2 can teach Classes 6 to 8. CTET certificate serves as the minimum qualification required for a teaching job. The CTET certificate is now valid for a lifetime, which was previously valid for only 7 years.

The steps to download the CTET result 2026 are as follows.
- Visit the official website, ctet.nic.in
- Click on the CTET result link available on the homepage
- A new login window will appear.
- Enter the required details.
- CTET scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download the CTET result 2026 and save it for further use.
As per the CTET result 2026 qualifying percentage, candidates from the general category must secure at least 60%, while those from reserved categories will have to secure at least 55%.
