The board will also provide a time frame for candidates to challenge the CTET 2026 provisional answer key, and the final answer key will be declared on the basis of objections raised by the candidates.
The objection fee to raise challenges against the CTET 2026 answer key will be Rs 1,000 per challenge. If the challenge is found correct, the fee money will be refunded to the candidate.

As per the marking scheme, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer in CTET 2026. Notably, there will be no negative marking in the eligibility test.
The CBSE conducted the CTET 2026 for candidates seeking job opportunities at Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVs), central government schools, and private schools from Classes 1 to 8.
The CTET 2026 was held from February 7 to 8 for paper 1 (classes 1 to 5) and paper 2 (classes 6 to 8) at centres established across the country. The exam was held in two shifts. The forenoon shift was held from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while shift 2 was conducted from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
How to Raise Objections against CTET Answer Key 2026?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to object to the provisional CTET 2026 answer key:
- Visit the official website - ctet.nic.in.
- Open the link "View image of OMR Sheet, View and Challenge CTET Answer Key".
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin
- Select the question(s) from Paper 1 or Paper 2 you wish to challenge and choose the correct option, provide justification, and upload supporting documents.
- Pay the required fee using a credit/debit card or net banking, and submit.
- Save the confirmation page for future reference.
