Download EBookNEW DELHI: A day after cancelling Class 12 board exams 2021, CBSE Board is now considering two options for evaluation. The first option is to evaluate the performance of the students on the basis of marks scored in the Classes 10, 11 final exams and Class 12 internal exams. The second option is to give weightage to the performance in Class 10 and marks obtained in the internal assessments in Class 12, as per a report by NDTV.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a review meeting on CBSE 12th board exams 2021 on June 1. In this meeting, it was decided to cancel Class 12 exams this year due to the COVID-19 situation in the country. It was also decided that results will be released in a time-bound manner as per a well-defined objective criteria.
“In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class 12 Board exams would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of Class 12 students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner,” as per the Press Information Bureau (PIB) press release.
