Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked its affiliated schools to submit registration data of Class 9 and 11 students for the year 2022-23 for advance planning for holding the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2023.

As per the latest circular issued by the CBSE, “Registration of students in Class 9 and 11 is a very significant process which helps CBSE in advance planning for holding the Class 10 and 12 examinations of these students in the forthcoming year.”

“Another important aspect of registration is to communicate the students' personal particulars to the parents so that in case, there is any mistake in the personal details of the student concerned the same may be corrected prior to the conduct of Class 10, 12 examination.” This also helps in eliminating requests in future for making the corrections.
The process of registration will start from July 1, 2022, and will conclude on September 30, 2022. The registration of students will be done through Pariksha Sangana link given on CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

Visually Impaired candidates are exempted from payment of registration fee for classes 9 and 11. |

The CBSE school principals were also directed to hold a meeting with the teachers assigned the responsibility to complete the registration to discuss the details and registration process.

The CBSE informed, “Only those students shall be allowed to appear for Class 10 and 12 Board Examinations in session 2023-24, whose names would be submitted through the online process of submission of registration data explained in this circular.”
Principals/Schools should ensure that: -
- Students sponsored are their own regular and bonafide students onIy.
- No bonafide students’ name is left unregistered.
- Students are not from any unauthorized/unaffiliated schools.
- Students are regularly attending classes in your school.
- Students are not registered with any other School Education Board in addition to CBSE.
- Students are eligible for admission in Classes 9 and 11 and appearing in Class 10 and 12 Board's Examinations as per provisions of Examination Bye Laws.
- In case of students of Class 11, it may be specifically ensured that:
(i) the students have passed and cleared all subjects/papers of their Class 10 examination and declared pass by the concerned Board.
(ii) the students have passed their CBSE Class 10 examination from a recognized School Education Board only.
