The CBSE Class 12 psychology 2026 paper included recall, application, and higher-order thinking questions to test knowledge, analysis, and practical understanding. Experts said it was fair, well-organised, and easy for students.
Deanna Mary Fugle, PGT – psychology at JAIN International Residential School, Bengaluru, said, “The question paper, which followed the CBSE blueprint with balanced marks across sections, was mostly easy to moderate. The multiple-choice and two-mark questions were straightforward, while the three and four-mark questions tested reasoning. The six-mark and case-based questions focused on concepts and how to apply psychology to real-life situations.”
Ravneet Handa, PGT – psychology, Witty International School, Udaipur, said, “The question paper had a balance of theory and practical questions. The case-based questions tested comprehension, not memorisation. Overall, it was of average difficulty and aligned with the CBSE syllabus.”
CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026: Students’ reactions
Jyotsana Rathore, a Class 12 student of Witty International School, shared, “The CBSE Class 12 psychology exam was well-balanced with theory and practical questions. Most of the questions came from the textbook and key topics highlighted by the teacher. The case-based questions were a bit challenging but fair, requiring careful study and application of concepts.”
Heena Kulkarni, subject matter expert at Lancers Army Schools, said, “The CBSE Class 12 psychology question paper was good and balanced. Although not very tricky, it demanded practical understanding and careful reading. Students with clear conceptual knowledge can do better by applying psychological theories to real-life situations.”
