Download EBookNEW DELHI: Students will appear for the mathematics and applied mathematics papers tomorrow, March 11 in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 2023 board exams. As a last-minute checklist, students can check the maths sample paper, question bank and marking scheme available at the CBSE official websites -- cbse.gov.in and cbseacademic.nic.in 2023.

The CBSE maths 2023 question paper contains five sections -- A, B, C, D and E. Answering each section will be compulsory, a board statement said. However, there are internal choices in some questions.
The Class 12 maths Section A paper will contain 18 multiple-choice questions and two assertion-reason based questions of one mark each. Section B of the CBSE mathematics question paper will contain five very short answer (VSA)-type questions of two marks each.
While Section C of CBSE Class 12th maths will have six short answer (SA)-type questions of three marks each, Section D will have four long answer (LA)-type questions of five marks each.
The Section E will have three source-based, case-based, passage-based or integrated units of assessment (four marks each) with sub parts.
As per the CBSE 2023 exam time table, the maths exam will be held for a duration of three hours between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. The total marks of maths for CBSE 2023 exam is 80 marks. 15 minutes of reading time will be allotted to the students to read the question paper.
Candidates taking the CBSE board exams 2023 will be required to carry their admit cards and fill the information regarding roll numbers and centre codes carefully as mentioned in the hall ticket.
