CBSE receives gold 'Digital India Award 2022 for information technology initiative 'digital academic repository-Parinam Manjusha'.
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education receives the 'Digital India Award 2022'. CBSE's information technology initiative 'digital academic repository-Parinam Manjusha' was selected for the gold category.
President of India, Droupadi Murmu presented the award to CBSE, director of IT and projects, Antriksh Joshi and joint secretary, IT, Kamal Kumar Khandelwal in the presence of minister if electronics and information technology (MeitY), Ashwini Vaishnaw and MeitY, secretary Alkesh Kumar Sharma.

The awarded initiative, Parinam Manjusha, is an online repositor that is a single source of result data developed and implemented by CBSE's IT department and integrated with NeGD's digi locker. The platform holds the result data of board examinees of the last 22 years along with central teacher eligibility test (CTET) dating back to 2018. The academic documents can be accessed and downloaded by students and can be used for verification by admissions and counselling bodies, education institutions and employers. The board further pans to upload results from 197 onwards on the platform.
Parinam Manjusha aims in eliminating hardships faced by students in need of their original documents. Apart from result declaration, digital academic documents like marksheets, passing certificates, migration certificates and skill certificates are available to download.
According to a press statement , CBSE innovative digital solutions also provide face matching technology assisted access to foreign students. the academic repository has been integrated with 'e-Sanad 'of MEA for e-Apostle of digital documents for students going abroad for their higher education or employment. The gold digital India award 2022 is the second award for CBSE after 2018 given in recognition for ‘exemplary online services’.
