Download EBookThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE Class 10 and 12 admit cards for the board exams 2026 on its official website, cbse.gov.in. Students are required to collect their CBSE admit cards 2026 from their respective schools after getting them signed by the principal.

The CBSE Board has hosted the hall tickets online with access restricted to schools. Principals have been instructed to download the admit cards and distribute them to registered students well before the examinations.
As per the official data, around 45 lakh students are expected to appear across 204 subjects in the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exam 2026.

CBSE Class 10, 12 exam dates 2026
The CBSE admit card for the 2026 board examinations will include important information such as the student’s name, roll number, school and centre details, photograph, subject names along with their codes, exam schedule, admit card identification number, date of birth, and the name of the examination.
As per the CBSE board exam date sheet 2026, the Class 12 board exams are scheduled to begin on February 17 and continue till April 9 . For Class 10, the board exams will be conducted in two phases— the first phase from February 17 to March 9 and the second phase from May 15 to June 1 .
The board has clarified that the special examination for class 10 sports and olympiad students will be held only during the second phase.
CBSE has reiterated that students must meet the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the board examinations. Students are required to have at least 75 per cent attendance , along with internal assessment scores, and should have studied all prescribed subjects, including any additional subject, for two academic years.

School officials can follow the below steps to download the admit card.

Visit the CBSE official website, cbse.nic.in

Click on the link that reads, “CBSE Class 10 and 12 Admit Card 2026”.

A new page will open where school officials must log in using their credentials.

Enter the required details and submit.

The admit cards of all Class 10 and 12 students will be displayed on the screen.

Take printouts of the hall tickets and get them signed by the school principal before distributing them to students.
Students will be required to carry their admit card on all exam days, as it is necessary for entry into the examination hall.
