The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the CBSE Board 2026 Class 12 Chemistry exam today, February 28. The CBSE 2026 Class 12 Chemistry question paper analysis will be available soon. As per CBSE Board exam guidelines, no student is permitted to enter the examination centre after 10 am. To pass the CBSE board Class 12th exam 2026, students must score 33% marks in each subject.

More than 18 to 20 lakh students are appearing for the CBSE Class 12 board exams in 2026. The exams started on February 17, 2026, and will continue until April 10, 2026, at over 8,000 exam centres. In total, more than 43 lakh students from Class 10 and Class 12 are taking the exams this year.
Students will have access to the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry exam analysis 2026, along with solutions for each set of question papers, once the exam ends. Students must know the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry exam pattern, which will help them to plan their preparation and time management properly.

According to the board’s guidelines, students are required to carry their CBSE board admit card 2026 along with their school ID for verification at the examination centre. A 15-minute reading time provided from 10:15 am to 10:30 am, allowing students to go through the question paper before the writing time begins.
CBSE has introduced an on-screen evaluation system for the CBSE Class 12 board exams from 2026 as a reform to enhance efficiency, transparency, and speed in the assessment process. Under the CBSE OSM system, answer booklets are scanned and uploaded to a digital platform — CBSE Onmark (cbse.onmark.co.in) — where teachers assess responses through a computer-based interface.
While the board taken this initiative as a step towards modernisation, several teachers involved in the evaluation process have expressed concerns that the rollout has been hurried and that the training provided was inadequate.
The CBSE board will conclude the CBSE Class 12th exams 2026 for 114 subjects on April 10 for more than 16 lakh students.
