NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 12 board exam 2025 for physics paper today. Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Physics exam 2025 had mixed reactions. While some found the CBSE Class 12 Physics question paper 2025 challenging, with moderate to difficult questions, others described it as manageable. The CBSE Physics paper 2025 was conducted in a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

A student who appeared for CBSE Class 12 Physics exam 2025 said that 5-mark questions were easy, but 3-mark questions were tricky. The CBSE Class 12 physics paper 2025 unofficial answer key will be available soon. Students were given 15 minutes reading time before the start of the exam and questions were not out of syllabus, as per CBSE Class 12 physics exam candidates.
The board commenced the Class 12 board exams from February 15 and so far, it has conducted five papers: Entrepreneurship; physical education; Hindustani Music Voc, Hindustani Music Mel Ins, automotive, healthcare, data science, electronics and hardware; Food production, office procedures and practices, design, Early Childhood Care and Education; Typography and Computer Application.
Students need to carry their CBSE Class 12 admit card 2025 and school ID to the exam centre each day of the exam. The board released the admit card on February 3.
The CBSE has issued guidelines for Class 12 board exams which students must follow for smooth conduct of exams.
Students need to obtain at least 33% marks in all the subjects, including theory, and practicals, to be able to pass the CBSE Class 12 board exams. The total marks for CBSE Class 12 board exam is 100 marks which is distributed among theory, practical, project and internal assessment in varying ratios. The theory paper contains 80 marks while practice exams consist of 30 scores.
As per the board, Class 12 board exam paper will have more competency-based questions and the number of constructed response questions will be dropped by 10%.
