In the webinar, which was held on December 22, the minister said that the CBSE board exams 2021 will be conducted in offline mode. He also confirmed that the CBSE Board exams will be conducted after February 2021.
The CBSE board had previously reduced the syllabus of board exams by 30 per cent.
Meanwhile, the CBSE Controller of Examinations, Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, conducted a meeting with some Principals of CBSE schools and announced that practical exams will be held in school labs as per previous year trends.
While answering a question asked by a teacher in his previous live session, the education minister said that his ministry has done different activities to keep the mental health of students balanced during the time of the pandemic. Fit India Movement, online yoga sessions, online programs, and various other activities are part of it.
Many students raised doubts regarding the reopening of schools previously during a webinar held on December 10. To which Pokhriyal said, 17 states have opened their schools although attendance is very low.
