The Indian Institute of Management has successfully conducted the CAT slot 3 exam today from 4.30 PM to 6.30 PM. Around 3.3 lakh candidates appeared for the CAT 2023 entrance exam in 155 cities across the country. The last evening CAT slot 3 concluded at 6:30 PM. Candidates claimed that the overall difficulty level of CAT 2023 exam was easy to moderate, and pointed out slot 3 to be comparatively easier than that of slot 1 and 2.

The exam duration was of 2 hours following a similar kind of pattern being observed in slot 1 and slot 2. Candidates who appeared for CAT 2023 slot 3 when interviewed, stated that the VARC section had 4 unseen passages in which 2 passages were easy and rest were challenging, whereas the DILR section had tricky questions which were very time-consuming. The last, quantitative aptitude of CAT slot 3 was lengthy as well.

CAT 2023 Slot 3 Analysis
According to the CAT slot 3 analysis the paper was on the difficult side. Only a few questions were doable in each section.
CAT slot 3 analysis VARC section
- The VARC section of CAT 2023 slot 3 was moderate to lengthy.
- There were 4 RC and 4 questions.
- RC passages were easy to moderate. Questions came from para jumbles, summary and para completion.
CAT slot 3 analysis DILR section
- The DILR section of CAT slot 3 was difficult.

IIM Lucknow successfully concluded all the slots for the CAT exam 2023. The provisional CAT official answer key is likely to be released in the first week of December. Candidates can also raise objections against any discrepancy found in the CAT official answer keys. Furthermore, the CAT 2023 results will most probably be released by the second week of January.
