The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will announce the CAT result 2024 on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the MBA entrance exams will be able to check IIM CAT result 2024 using login credentials.

The CAT 2024 provisional answer key was issued on December 3. The CAT 2024 answer key objection window was open till December 5. The CAT 2024 final answer key will be released along with results. The CAT 2024 result will be prepared based on normalisation method. Several parameters are taken into consideration during CAT normalisation process such as highest score, lowest score, mean score, median score, top 10 and lowest percentiles.
This year, 3.29 lakh candidates registered for the CAT exam 2024, of which 2.93 lakh candidates sat for the exam; recording an overall attendance of 89%. Candidates will be able to download the CAT score card 2024 using their registration number, password, and candidate login credentials.
Although the number of questions was increased to 68 at the last moment, the MBA entrance exam was rated easy compared to previous year by aspirants. Experts have also speculated that the CAT cut-offs 2024 may increase this year for IIM admission as the question paper was easy in difficulty level.

How to check CAT results 2024?
Candidates will be able to view and download the CAT scorecard 2024 by following the steps given below.
- Visit the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the CAT score card 2024 download link.
- Key in CAT application number, password, and security pin
- Enter the login credentials entered.
- CAT score card 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- Check all the details given on the result card.
- Download and save it for future reference.
IIM Calcutta conducted the CAT exam 2024 on November 24 in 389 exam centres. The question paper had three sections - verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), quantitative ability (QA), and data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR). The CAT VARC section had 24 questions and the remaining two sections had 22 questions each.
