CAT 2025 Registration LIVE: IIM Kozhikode extends registration till September 20; MBA admission criteria

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has extended the Common Admission Test (CAT 2025) registration window today till September 20. Aspirants can fill the CAT application form 2025 on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. CAT scores are also accepted by 21 IIMs and over 1,000 B-schools in the country.

CAT exam date 2025 and eligibility criteria were announced along with the information bulletin. As per the schedule announced by the institute, the CAT exam will be conducted on November 30 in three shifts.

All 21 IIMs in India accept CAT scores for admission to MBA and postgraduate management programmes (PGP). However, qualifying in the national-level MBA entrance exam alone will not guarantee admission. Those qualifying CAT will be shortlisted for personal interview (PI) and a written ability test (WAT) depending on the selection process adopted by the respective IIM.

In addition to this, candidates’ academic performance over the years, starting from Class 10 to their bachelor’s degree, and work experience will also be considered for final selection. Academic and gender diversity are also key factors that determine eligibility. In short, the admission criteria vary across different IIMs.

IIM CAT 2025 question paper will have quantitative ability (QA), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC). The exam will be held for a duration of 120 minutes, with an additional 40 minutes for PwD candidates.
