Download EBookNEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will end the Common Admission Test (CAT) registration today, September 20 at 5 pm. Those interested can fill out the application form for the CAT 2024 exam for various management programmes through IIM’s official website, iimcat.ac.in.

Earlier, the CAT 2024 registrations were supposed to end on September 13. However, the exam authorities extended the last date of registration till September 20. The CAT 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on November 24 in around 170 cities. Candidates will be able to choose their preferred exam centre at the time of the CAT registration process.
After the registration process ends, a short edit window will be made available to the registered applicants. Candidates can edit the details entered in the application form if required.

CAT 2024: Eligibility
To apply for the CAT 2024 exam, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Candidates belonging to the ST, SC, PwD category must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 45 percent marks.
If a candidate does not have a bachelor's degree, he must have at least a professional degree in CA, CS, ICWA, Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) with the required percentage.
CAT 2024: Steps to register
Candidates can fill in the CAT 2024 application form by following the steps below.

Visit IIM’s official website, iimcat.ac.in.

Click on the 'new candidate registration' link available.

Read the instructions given and move on to registration.

Register and generate login credentials

Login using your credentials and fill CAT form 2024.

Upload required documents.
-
Pay the required application fee.
-
Download the confirmation page and take a print out for future reference.
The CAT 2024 exam question paper will comprise three sections – verbal ability, reading comprehension (VARC); data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative ability (QA). The duration for the CAT exam is120 minutes.
