The CAT exam 2023 is held every year for admission to MBA and PGDM programmes offered by 21 IIMs and over 1,200 B-schools across the country. As per the selection process, CAT score is just one component of the admission process. This year, CAT recorded registration of 3.3 lakh , 30% increase compared to last year and highest in a decade. After the CAT results are declared, each participating institute will announce the CAT cut-offs for admission. The cut-offs are determined based on various factors such as number of candidates, difficulty level, previous year trends.
