BTech Counselling 2025 LIVE: UPTAC round 3 choice filling begins; updates on MAH CET, TNEA, KCET, COMEDK

The JAC Chandigarh will close the special round choice-filling today, with the seat allotment result to be announced on August 9. Updates on TG EAPCET, MHT CET, COMEDK, KEAM, AP EAMCET, KCET, TNEA counselling, choice filling, and seat allotment dates.
BTech Counselling 2025 : The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra will close the MHT CET 2025 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 2 option form submission and confirmation today, August 8, 2025. The MHT CET 2025 CAP round 2 provisional allotment will be displayed on August 11, 2025. Candidates can complete seat acceptance, including fee payment and freeze/betterment options, online from August 12 to 14, 2025.
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will end round 2 choice-filling for Hyderabad-Karnataka Region (HKR) and Kalyana-Karnataka Region (KKR) candidates at 4 PM today, August 8. The COMEDK 2025 round 2 allotment result will be published on August 12, 2025. Candidates can make their decision and pay the fee till on August 16, 2025.
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh will also close the special round choice-filling today. The committee will announce the JAC Chandigarh special round seat allotment result on August 9. The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will declare the seat allotment result for Telangana Engineering Agriculture Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2025 counselling for engineering and pharmacy admissions on August 10.
For Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2025, the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai, has released the provisional allotment result for round 2 upward movement candidates. Eligible candidates can log in to tneaonline.org to download the allotment order. In addition, choice filling for round 3 is now open and will remain active till August 9, 2025, up to 5 PM. The supplementary counselling round is scheduled to be held from August 21 to 23.

Court orders fresh WBJEE merit list; AP EAMCET final allotment deferred
The Calcutta High Court has ordered the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) to prepare a fresh WBJEE 2025 merit list within 15 days, ruling that the earlier list was “erroneous and unsustainable” for applying the new OBC reservation policy effective June 10, 2025, to an exam held on April 27. The court directed that the revised list must provide 7% reservation to 66 OBC classes recognised before 2010..
Moreover, the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2025 final phase seat allotment result has been postponed. The new date will be announced as per the directions of the High Court. Once released, candidates will be able to check the allotment result on the official website, eapcet-sche.aptonline.in.
