BSEB DElEd 2026 registration extended till January 9 for 30,750 seats

Bihar DElEd Admission 2026: Candidates can access the application form on the official website at bsebdeled.com.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the registration deadline for the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination for admission to the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) programme till January 9. Candidates can fill out the BSEB DElEd 2026 application form on the official website, bsebdeled.com.
Earlier, the BSEB DElEd online application form and examination fee window closed on December 24, 2025. While filling the Bihar DElEd application form 2026, general, EWS, BC, and EBC candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 960, whereas SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to pay Rs 760.
Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for the DElEd entrance examination , while SC and PwD candidates require a minimum of 45% marks.
Urdu language stream candidates who have passed the Maulvi examination (equivalent to Class 10) with 50% marks are also eligible.

Candidates with qualifications like Polytechnic or ITI are not eligible, except those who have completed vocational Class 10+12, Madhyamik, or Intermediate exams. Candidates must be at least 17 years old on the first day of the admission year.
BSEB DElEd Application Form 2026: How to apply?
Here are the steps to fill out the BSEB DElEd 2026 application form.
- Go to the BSEB’s official website at bsebdeled.com.
- Click on the “Apply for D.El.Ed Entrance Exam - 2026” link.
- Fill the application form with the required information.
- Pay the application fee
- Apply and take a printout of it for future reference.
Unreserved candidates will have to score at least 35%, while reserved category candidates, including SC, ST, and PwD, need a minimum of 30% to qualify for the entrance exam.
The final selection will be determined based on a merit list that combines entrance exam scores and the institutional preferences submitted by candidates.
