British Council announces new scholarships for Indian PG students, English teachers

British Council is offering scholarships to Indian postgraduate students in various fields, English teachers from India.
NEW DELHI: United Kingdom’s organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations British Council, announced 20 GREAT scholarships, a new postgraduate scholarship worth a minimum of 10,000 pounds for Indian students enrolled in courses in the field of business, finance, humanities, psychology entrepreneurship, design, marketing, HR, music, among others, across 16 UK universities for the academic year 2022-23, said a statement from the British Council.
Apart from this, the British Council claimed that it will provide seven scholarships for justice and law, for Indian students who want to apply for courses in the fields of human rights, criminal justice and commercial law.

The British Council is also providing six fully-funded scholarships for English teachers from India, who are working in or with the primary or secondary government schools in India. Under this scholarship, teachers will be able to study at two UK universities for postgraduate study of English language teaching. Three among the six scholarships will enable the candidates to access offline, full-time MA programme at the University of Leeds in the UK. The remaining three scholarships are for the online, part-time MSc programme offered by the University of Stirling.
