BML Munjal University launches three-year B.Sc computer science programme

Admission to the B.Sc computer science at BML Munjal University will be based on the BMU-SAT test.
NEW DELHI: BML Munjal University has introduced a new age 3-year B. Sc. degree programme in computer science for the class of 2022-23. The programme will be administered by the School of Engineering and Technology. The B.Sc. computer science programme offers specialisation in data science and artificial intelligence, cyber security, and big data analytics. Additionally, it offers mandatory minor specialisations in business analytics, financial technology, digital marketing.
The degree program will be 3-years full-time and have an interdisciplinary curriculum, flexible structure, and future-oriented content.

Anirban Chakraborti, dean of School of Engineering and Technology, BMU, said during the launch of the programme "Understanding the talent gap and meeting the recent industry 4.0 demands, BMU has developed the course in data science and artificial intelligence. The course follows the SOET principle of interdisciplinary immersive experiential learning with a strong emphasis on systems approach. Both the curriculum and electives are designed to provide choice-based learning opportunities."
BML Munjal University eligibility criteria

A candidate must have a higher secondary certificate (10+2) in science stream with an aggregate score of 60% and mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.

Students who have not taken any standardised tests will be required to take the BMU-SAT, which is administered by the university. Admission to the School of Engineering & Technology is based solely on merit and aptitude.
The BML Munjal University offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in the following areas: B.Tech, BA (Hons) in economics, BBA, BCom (Hons), BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), LLB (Hons), BBA, Integrated BBA-MBA for undergraduates, MBA, and PhD for postgraduates.
