BITSAT 2025: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani conducted the second day of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2025 phase 1 exam today, May 27. BITSAT 2025 May 27 shift 2 started at 2 pm till 5 pm. The exam is being held in two shifts -- shift 1 from 9 am to 12 pm and shift 2 from 2 pm to 5 pm. BITSAT exam 2025 is taking place from May 26 to 30.

Candidates are advised to carry their BITSAT admit card , two recent passport-size photographs, and a valid photo ID to the exam centre for verification purposes.

Candidates appearing for the exam are advised not to wear any kind of jewellery to the exam centre. Candidates should wear chappals or simple slippers to the exam hall and avoid wearing closed shoes or boots.

BITSAT 2025 session 2 exam will be held from June 22 to 26. BITSAT paper includes four sections: physics, chemistry, English proficiency and logical reasoning, maths and biology. The paper comprises 130 marks in total. As per the BITSAT marking scheme, candidates will be given three marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

BITSAT 2025: Exam day guidelines

The exam day guidelines for the BITSAT 2025 session 1 are as follows.

  • Candidates should carry valid ID proof to the exam centre along with their hall ticket.
  • Candidates should reach the centre atleast 60 minutes before to avoid any last-minute rush.
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam room without submitting their OMR sheets to the exam invigilator.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as Bluetooth, calculators, smartphones, or smartwatches to the exam hall.

BITSAT is a computer-based entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa campuses. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be eligible for counselling and the seat allotment process.
