BIMTECH commences new batch of 480 students in various PGDM courses with ‘Deeksharambh’ ceremony
BIMTECH Greater Noida welcomed 480 new students for PGDM programmes from over 13 states of India and diverse educational backgrounds like engineering, humanities and commerce.
Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) organised its 38th Commencement Day with a new batch of 480 students in four programmes - Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM-International Business, PGDM-Insurance Business Management, and PGDM-Retail Management.
According to an official statement, this year BIMTECH saw increased enrollments, with a “well-balanced” gender ratio. Students have enrolled from all over India, including the states of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Assam.
The statement also highlighted the different educational backgrounds of the new students at BIMTECH campus - there are students from commerce, engineering, science, humanities, as well as management.

Welcoming the BIMTECH new batch of 2025, Prabina Rajib, director of BIMTECH , said, “These two years will be very significant for you where you will get ample opportunities to create your own future. You will build on academic excellence, leadership capabilities and develop your personality and skills.”
The institute welcomed the new batch at a ‘Deeksharambh’ ceremony at its Greater Noida campus. Dinesh Gulati, chief operating officer (COO), IndiaMART, InterMESH, Limited, arrived as the chief guest. Guests of honour were Manjari Jaruhar, Indian Police Service (IPS) (retd.), and Amit Gupta, global head ‘Data Strategy AI’, Mastercard Data Services.
“Focus on developing human skills like critical thinking, problem solving, aptitude, creativity, and innovation. When you develop your knowledge and skills, your CV becomes stronger,” Gulati said to the BIMTECH 2025 class.
The BIMTECH orientation of 2025 also included addresses from Gupta and Jaruhar, who talked about responsibility and opportunity, and the importance of communication and networking skills.
