Bihar UGEAC 2023 counselling on hold; NEET UG choice-filling, PG rank list delayed

BCECEB has put the engineering counselling on hold, and postponed UGMAC choice-filling, PGMAC rank card due to “unavoidable reasons”.
NEW DELHI : The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has put the engineering counselling on hold and postponed the undergraduate medical choice-filling, and postgraduate medical rank list due to “unavoidable reasons”. Aspirants can check the latest update on the board’s official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
“Due to unavoidable reasons UGEAC-2023 Counselling has been kept on hold. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with boards website for further notice,” the board said on its website.
The board conducts the Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC) for admission to BE, BTech programmes in the state engineering colleges. The registration for UGEAC 2023 began on June 5 and the last date to register was June 30.

The board website further read, “Due to unavoidable reasons UGMAC 2023 choice filling is delayed” and said that same for PGMAC 2023 rank card. The Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) is held for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes through the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) exam whereas the Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC) is conducted for admission to MD, MS, MDS programmes through NEET PG.
Bihar NEET UG counselling 2023 round 1 choice-filling was supposed to begin from August 9 and candidates were asked to fill and lock choices by August 14 after downloading their rank card.
On the other hand, the registration for Bihar NEET PG counselling 2023 closed on August 5 and the rank card or merit list was supposed to be released on August 9.
