Download EBookThe Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will conduct the Class 12 examination 2026 from February 2 for 13.18 lakh candidates at 1,761 exam centres across the state. The board has issued the exam day guidelines for students appearing for the BSEB Intermediate annual examination.
Anand Kishore, chairman, BSEB, has directed all districts to implement the zero-tolerance policy at all costs and take strict action against those who disrupt the purity and cleanliness of the examination.
“Conducting examinations fairly and without malpractice is essential for the bright future of millions of students in the state,” as per the official statement.
The board has also established a control room for the prompt exchange of information and timely resolution of problems during the examination, which will be operational 24 hours a day from 6 am on February 1.

Bihar Board Intermediate Examination 2026 admit card
The control room's numbers are 0612-2232227 and 0612-2232257, and Whatsapp groups have been created for better coordination with the districts, the notification reads.
The Bihar board intermediate exam 2026 admit card has been issued on the official website at intermediate.biharboardonline.com. However, students will have to collect the Bihar Class 12 board exam hall ticket from their respective schools.
The BSEB Intermediate board exam 2026 will be held in dual shifts. The morning shift will begin at 9:30 am, whereas the afternoon session will take place from 2 pm.
As per the exam day guidelines, students are advised to reach their respective exam centres on time as the BSEB Class 12 exam centre gates will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination.
Entry to the examination centre will start from 8:30 AM, and the gates will be closed at 9 am , half an hour before the begin at 9:30 am.
Similarly, in the second shift, entry to the examination centre will start from 1:00 PM, one hour before the scheduled time of 2 PM and the main gate of the examination centre will be closed at 1:30 PM, half an hour before 2:00 PM.
“Late arrival by a candidate will be considered forced and illegal entry into the examination center, a criminal act and an attempt to compromise the sanctity of the examination, free from malpractice,” the notification reads.
Candidates will be frisked at two levels at the examination centre. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, bluetooth, pagers, electronic watches, smart watches, and magnetic watches are prohibited in the examination hall.
