BHU forms panel to ensure timely, error-free UG, PG, PhD admission 2023

BHU Admission 2023: The panel will redesign various admission bulletins of the university like UG entrance test (UET), postgraduate entrance test (PET).
NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has formed a Central Admission Committee for a timely and error free admission process for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and PhD programmes. The panel was formed with an aim to begin the upcoming academic session as per the schedule.
“Mandated with ensuring transparent and error free admission, the committee will also redesign the various admission bulletins of the university like UG entrance test (UET), postgraduate entrance test (PET), research entrance test (RET) and Special Courses of Study,” BHU said.
The committee has been tasked with developing effective information dissemination tools like help videos, help desks for effective outreach of the BHU admission system and procedures in order to aid students during admission. It will also work on further improving the admission system and suggest effective alterations for online admission mechanisms.
The committee will be chaired by Rakesh Raman, Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences and the Controller of Examination will be the ex-officio member.
Other members include Aditya Tripathi, department of library and information sciences, Rajesh Kumar, department of chemistry, Umesh Kumar, department of English, Chinmay Roy, faculty of commerce, and Sabina Bano, Geography, Mahila Mahavidyalaya. Deputy Registrar (Academic) is the member secretary of the Central Admission Committee.
BHU will open the UG, PG admission 2023 registration in the last week of May 2023. Candidates will have to appear in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2023) to be considered for BHU UG, PG admission 2023.
