BHU UG Admission 2024: Registration through CUET begins; select preferences at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in

BHU UG Registration 2024: The last date to register for BHU UG admission 2024 is August 10 through the official website, bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University has opened the registration window for admission to undergraduate courses through the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) today, August 2. Students who appeared for CUET UG 2024 and are eligible can apply for BHU UG admissions 2024 through the official website, bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
As per the schedule, the last date to register for BHU UG admission 2024 is August 10. Candidates may register, select preferences and submit admission fee till 11: 59 pm on August 10, 2024. All saved/submitted preferences will get auto locked on August 13, 2024.
"Fresh/Existing registration along with preference selection and application payment commences on 02.08.2024. Last date for registration, preference selection and payment is 10.08.2024 (23:59hrs)", BHU official notification read.
BHU UG application 2024 correction window
Following the registration deadline, the university will open the BHU UG application correction window on August 11, 2024. Successfully registered candidates will be able to make changes in the BHU UG 2024 application form through the correction facility.
The BHU UG application correction window for registered candidates will remain open till August 12, 2024. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to edit the details on BHU UG application form 2024.
BHU UG Admission 2024: Program selection and subject mapping
Candidates who have completed profile registration or are applying for the first time can select their programs and subsequently choose their preferences/locations through the CAP portal, bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
For subject mapping, candidates must align the subjects they studied in Class 12 with those they took in CUET-2024. Only CUET papers that correspond to the subjects passed in Class 12 will be considered. "It is the candidate's sole responsibility to provide accurate subject mapping, and the University's decision on this matter is final", the university added.
The university provides a total of 7,712 seats for its undergraduate programs across various faculties on the main campus, at the constituent college Mahila Mahavidyalaya, and affiliated colleges. Additionally, there are 1,182 paid seats available in the main campus, Mahila Mahavidyalaya, and affiliated colleges.
