Class 12 board exam 2021 live update
As per the report of NDTV, the state education minister said, “We have not taken any decision as of now. But it is a fact that we are of the opinion that exams should happen and there is no alternative. CBSE exam decisions will come from the Centre. The committee led by Union Cabinet Minister Rajnath Singh has already met. On behalf of the Assam government, we have given surety that we can hold the exams.”
However, the SEBA HSLC and AHSEC HS exams dates are not final yet. Earlier, the Assam board exams 2021 were scheduled to begin from May 11, 2021. It is expected that dates and modes of examinations would be declared once the COVID-19 situation improves in the state.
“Our higher secondary exams will definitely happen, the date we have to fix. CBSE has cancelled its 10th standard board exams but for our Assam board we cannot cancel this exam, we will hold it," he further added.
Every year, the HSLC students appear for six subjects and the higher secondary students of Arts, Science and Commerce streams appear for five subjects. This year, the board will conduct exams for three subjects only, the report further added.
