Assam Class 10, 12 board 2026 time table out; exams from February 10
Assam Board 2026: Class 10 board exams will begin from February 10 and Class 12 boards will start from February 11.
The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has announced the exam routine for the Assam Class 10, 12 board exams 2026. The board exams will be conducted in dual shifts. The morning shift will be held from 9 am to 11 am, while the afternoon shift will take place from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has also announced the exam dates for the Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) - Class 10 and Higher Secondary (HS) - Class 12 board exams 2026 today through its official X account.
As per the announcement, the Assam Class 10 board 2026 will begin from February 10 and Class 12 board exams will start from February 11.
The exam routine for Assam board exams comprise guidelines for the exam day, including timings for written exams, practical tests, distribution of question papers.
Students will be given 10 minutes extra time from 8:50 am to 9 am in the morning shift and 1:20 pm to 1:30 pm in the afternoon session to read the question papers.
“The Practical Examinations will be held from January 27 to February 7, 2026 in each institution under jurisdiction of ASSEB, Div.-II wherefrom students were registered in 2024-25 session,” according to the official statement.
