APPSC announces 691 forest, assistance beat officer posts; applications open tomorrow

Subscribe NowThe Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is inviting applications for Forest Beat Officer and Assistant Beat Officer posts. Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the competitive exam to fill a total of 691 vacancies through the official website at psc.ap.gov.in from tomorrow.
The application window for the recruitment drive will remain open till August 5, 2025.
As per the vacancy distribution, 256 posts are for the Forest Beat Officers, while 435 posts are for Assistant Beat Officers in government departments.
Candidates interested in appearing for the competitive exam must pay an application fee of Rs 250 and an examination fee of Rs 80. The fee can be paid using online payment gateways such as net banking or credit card or debit card.
According to the eligibility criteria, candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age as of July 1, 2025. They must also have passed the intermediate examination or its equivalent to be eligible to sit for the competitive test.
