Additionally, 180 new seats have been added by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for MBBS admissions . A total of 30 seats have been added to the Government Medical College, Ongole, 100 in Anna Gowri Medical College & Hospital, Parameshwaramangalam and 50 seats in Santhiram Medical College, Nandyala.
Candidates who opt for AP NEET UG counselling 2025 free exit option are not eligible for further rounds of counselling under the competent authority quota, but can join MQ Phase-I of NTR UHS, Vijayawada, if a seat is allotted.

AP NEET UG Counselling 2025: Free exit option
The college principals have to accept the free exit requests from the candidates in the enclosed format and return original certificates and the entire tuition fee and other fees, if any, to the candidates immediately and freeze the latest data by 4 pm.
The seats vacated by the candidates in the AP NEET counselling 2025 round 1 will be available for round 2 MBBS admissions. Further, candidates who do not opt for the free exit option will not be able to resign from the seat allotted during the course of admissions till its closure.
“Reported Candidates who have not utilised the free exit facility as per the schedule cannot resign the seat during the course of admissions, that is, from Phase-III counselling till closure of admissions,” the NTRUHS notice read.
