AP EAMCET 2023 results will be declared on the official website – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
NEW DELHI : The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) results 2023 will be declared soon. Students who appeared for exams will be able to check their results on the official website – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Candidates will have to enter their registration and hall ticket number. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) conducted AP EAMCET 2023 from May 15 to May 23.
AP EAMCET answer key 2023 was released on May 23 along with response sheets. The AP EAMCET 2023 results will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key.
The exam committee uses a normalisation process to justify the marks of candidates as the exams are held in different shifts and with different levels of difficulty.
Normalized marks of the candidate are calculated as follows:
GMS + Top average global - GMS / Top average session - SMS * marks obtained by candidate - SMS
For candidates having qualifying marks in AP EAMCET 2023, if the marks in any individual subject become negative after normalisation, then the normalized marks in the respective subject is treated as zero. However, total marks in three subjects are considered as AP EAPCET marks.
For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut-off, if the marks in all the three subjects after normalization go below zero (negative), the total marks are treated as zero and the rank is assigned.
AP EAMCET 2023: Tie-breaking rule
- Total marks secured in exam
- Marks secured in mathematics
- Marks secured in Physics
- If the tie persists, the same rank will be given and the older (based on date of birth) will be given preference over the younger at the time of admissions.
