Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to start new off-campus at Faridabad with 12 UGC-approved courses

The new notice says the approval date of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Amaravati campus to be considered 2021-22 instead of 2022-23.
NEW DELHI: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, deemed to be university, will be starting an off-campus centre at Faridabad, Haryana. The university got approval for 12 courses from the University Grants Commission (UGC).
On May 13, the UGC had allowed Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to establish an off-campus centre at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. However, as per the new notice, “the approval for Amaravati Campus may be treated for the academic year 2021-2022.”
The UGC has allowed Amrita University to offer the following programmes for the academic year 2022-23.
- BSc Medical Radio Technology (MRT)
- BSc Emergency Medical Technology (EMT)
- BSc Intensive Care Technology (MRT)
- Master ofHospital Administration
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
- MSc Bio Statistics
- MSc MLT-Pathology
- MSc MLT Biochemistry
- MSc MLT Microbiology
- MSc Molecular Medicine
- MSC Nano Biotechnology
- MSc Nanosciences and Technology

The research programmes for the academic year 2022-23 will be conducted under - MSc MLT-Pathology, MSc Bio-Statistics, MSc Molecular Medicine and MSc Nanoscience and Technology. “The said off-campus shall be reviewed by the Commission after a period of five years from the date of Notification by the Government,” the UGC informed.
