AISSEE 2025 on April 5; exam pattern, mode, marking scheme, qualifying criteria

AISSEE 2025 will be held for admission to Classes 6 and 9 in sainik schools and new sainik schools for 2025-26 session.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam date for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. The exam will be held on April 5, 2025 for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in sainik schools and new sainik schools across the country, for the academic session 2025-26.

AISSEE 2025 will be conducted in a pen-and-paper mode. The duration of the Class 6 entrance exam will be 150 minutes whereas the Class 9 exam will last for 180 minutes.
As per AISSEE 2025 exam timings, Class 6 exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm whereas Class 9 exam will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.

According to the AISSEE 2025 exam pattern, the question paper will comprise multiple-choice questions. The detailed exam scheme for Class 6, 9 are as follows:

There will not be any negative marking for incorrect responses marked by candidates in the entrance exam.
While AISSEE 2025 Class 9 exam will be held in English medium only, NTA will administer the Class 6 exam in English, Marathi, Odiya, Bengali, Hindi, Assamese, Punjabi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu, and Malayalam.
In order to pass the AISSEE 2025 exam, candidates are required to score 25% marks in each subject and 40% marks in aggregate. No minimum marks are required for those belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
