Download NowNEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has declared the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 result 2024 today, March 21. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their AIBE 19 results 2024 through the official website at allindiabarexamination.com.
To access the result, candidates must log in using their roll number and password, which is their date of birth. As per the official notice, after the withdrawal of seven questions, the result has been calculated based on 93 questions instead of 100.
The official notice further informed that candidates whose results have been withheld due to the submission of incorrect documents instead of the enrolment certificate must upload the required certificate through the upload portal while accessing the result link.
“Additionally, candidates who signed an Undertaking during the AIBE-XIX exam are also required to upload their Enrolment Certificate to the same portal,” the official notice said.
AIBE 19 Results 2024: Passing marks
The AIBE 19 passing criteria for the general and other backward classes (OBC) category is 45% of 93 marks, which rounds up to 42 marks. For the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and disabled candidates, the passing mark is 40% of 93 marks, which is 37 marks.
Candidates who do not meet the AIBE 19 minimum passing marks in AIBE 19 results can take the exam again in the next session. There is no restriction on the number of attempts for the AIBE exam. Once registered with a state bar council, a candidate can appear for the exam any number of times.
The AIBE 19 exam was conducted on December 22 in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. Candidates received one mark for each correct answer, and there was no negative marking for wrong responses, as per the AIBE 19 marking scheme.
