82.91% students pass Bihar Class 10 board exam 2024; 4.5 lakh secure first division

Bihar Class 10 Exam Result 2024: As many as 13,79,842 students – 6,80,293 boys and 6,99,549 girls – have cleared the annual examination.
NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has hosted the link of the Bihar Class 10 board exam result 2024 for 16,64,252 students on the official website, results.biharboardonline.com. As per BSEB, 82.91% students cleared the Bihar Class 10th exam 2024, which is a rise of 1.83% as compared to last year’s examination.
The board said the Bihar Annual Secondary Examination 2024 was attended by 8,58,785 girls and 8,05,467 boys. In the Bihar Class 10 annual board exam 2024, 4,52,302 students – 2,52,846 boys and 1,99,456 girls – passed with first division. A total of 5,24,965 students – 2,52,121 boys and 2,72,844 girls – secured second division in the examination.
Third division was secured by 3,80,732 students – 1,66,093 boys and 2,14,639 girls in the Bihar Class 10 board exam 2024. A total of 21,843 students are in the pass category in this examination. A total of 13,79,842 students, including 6,80,293 boys and 6,99,549 girls, have passed the annual examination.
The board said 51 students secured positions in the top 10 list of Bihar annual secondary examination 2024. A total of 10 students in the first five positions and 41 students in ranks 6 to 10. Shivankar Kumar of Zilla School, Purnia, secured the 1st position in the entire state by securing a total of 489 marks (97.80%).
The Bihar Class 10 board exam was conducted at 1,585 examination centres in the state between February 15 and 23. This is the third consecutive time in the history of the committee that the result of the matriculation annual examination is being released on March 31 this year, the board said.
